We are under 2-hours drive from Inverness, with direct flights to London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham, and train connections to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Linneraineach sits at the gateway to the Hebrides, with easy access to ferries to Stornawway, and under 3 hours drive to the Isle of Skye.

The local area is a truly magical place. This remote and rugged place is home to some of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes and amazing wildlife. Whether you are visiting for a few days or are here for longer, the area has so many places to visit and experiences to be had. Here are a few of our favourites.
The Summer Isles
The Summer Isles are a beautiful and scenic, largely uninhabited archipelago situated half an hour away opposite Achiltibuie. Known for wildlife like seabirds, seals, and dolphins, the islands are popular for boating, kayaking, and hiking
Achnahaird beach
Half an hour drive away, our closest and favourite beach. Nice costal walk to the beach and fine white sand when you get there.
Stac Pollaidh
Famous and spectacular hike. Accessible directly from Linneraineach or a short drive to the car park.
Corrieshalloch Gorge Nature Reserve
Lovely, easy 40 minute walk on a well maintained designated path to view a spectacular hidden gorge from a Victorian suspension bridge.
